Comparison happens

One of my favourite blog and I am a frequent reader of it, is New York Daily Photo. Great stories, great buildings and people… A type of blog what you should read not only before you visiting New York but during the whole year, because it gives a piece of mood from The City. The reason I write because, the other day I have saw the picture of the Central Synagogue in New York and also the comment that it was designed by Henry Fernbach after Budapest's Dohány street Synagogue. Only looking at the synagogue facade (using a little Photoshop and cutting the sides of the picture) it would be hard to tell which one was taken at Budapest and New York. I believe it didn’t take much time to redraw the plans.

It will sound strange but we could say that we have found a little Dohány utca in New York, as we say that Nagymező street is the Broadway of Budapest.

DANUBE

Budapest is located a very beautiful site, the river Danube crosses in the middle of the city, but unfortunately the river is hardly accessible due to the high traffic street. But at the south end of the city, there is a long shore where there are no places for cars only for bicycles, raw boats, and walkers.  This place always makes me surprise. A little bit of time travelling, going back to 20-30 years, because its infrastructure not too developed, but it is the best as it is. A place where development is notso much needed.

NAKED GIRL ON THE ROOFTOP

as the other day I was surfing the internet, I had run in to a head line saying “snap a shot of the ultra-rare Beyonce nip”. What a news, really! half of the word now knows about it , even people like me who wasn’t looking for that fantastic news, just as I was surfing on different news portals I had this window pop up. it is a word news or at least widely spread all over the world that a girls nipple was captured. I really didn’t played much attention about it I just surfed on, didn’t even bothered to open tat particular webpage, until I have seen this naked lady on the rooftop on the other day. And I started to wonder how came this lady is not in the news her nipple is out there and not only for a blink of the second what is just hardly enough time for a paparazzi to take a picture of it. other hand this lady on the rooftop is just laying remotely looking in to the distant. I believe she has the right to be in the news headlines too.

clear structures, well designed. it is in front of us but we can’t recognize it because the surrounding hides it, we have to focus closely on it so the symmetric lines draw out clearly. I like this stair, as is it floats in the air lighetly. No tricks, no special elements are added to it, but the form looks elegant and cleared. A little window washing would cam in handy we cant argue about that.:)

Erected for the election

the 2010 parliamentary election is over (almost over the official announcement will be later on this week). parliamentary election is almost like the national championship, there are three groups of people, one group belongs to those, who have there team qualified for the cup, and they are arriving to the stadium with there team flags and do believe in there team capability or they just feel in some reason close to them, the second group are from those people who haven’t picked there team or they are not too devoted for any of there team, it depends on the qualifying matches whom they are going to pick, it depends on the style of the game, the sympathy, the previous knowledge about the team, and so on… the third group for various reason doesn’t want to be “part” of it, don’t want to bothered be fun of any team or even watching it all…yesterday it was the final. at this event it was clear who will be the winner and as in every sport it was still “exciting” to watch the tv and waiting for the results, because the statistic is interesting too, just as in basketball or in football. now there is one winner who has won big time and qualified for the Word Cup series, now it is time to start playing in this "Stadium" witch was erected at the end of the 19th century in a gothic revival style and it is a master peace of it s own.

THE END OF THE CITY

long time ago i have seen the movie called "The gods must be crazy". the movie took place in the Kalahari Desert where the native people called the bushman have found a coke bottle. that bottle brought many trouble in their peaceful life, so they have decided that they will take the bottle to the end of the world and there they will throw it down to get rid of it. we might think first that it sounds unrealistic to go to where the earth ends, especially because we have all heard about Galileo, but we all have a theory about the boundaries, borders, which is not always the same as it has been told to us. it is up to our imagination. in the movie too the bushman finds his way to the end of the word and he succeeds in his mission and he throws down the bottle. i didn 't had the mission to get rid of a coke bottle, but i have found the end of Budapest, of course i don't have to mention it, that it doesn't overlap exactly the real border of Budapest, but for me it is the end of Budapest, and also the bigging of it, because as i am arriving from the highway and i see this small hill, i know i have arrived home. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080801/

NO MUST

there are certain things you never ever file like start doing, you feel terrible to do it, and the worst part, that it is not a must to do, live goes on with out making it. it is only up to you to do it or not. It is not like your job, what u can't skip (maximum 2-3days), or doing the dishes you can survive few days with out it, but after a week you find out you better do it. Getting the old audiotapes categorized is one of the thing you never want to start doing, because it is just messy. I have all my fathers audiotapes too plus mine, i know it is an old stuff and nobody uses today, and it is a also bad technique (unlike old disks), but i just cant let them go. So one sunday when i still felt dizzy from the wine from the day before, i have set down and started to categorize the tapes. what a mess, what a long and hopeless bottle, i had no chance to win, but as i was looking at the tapes listened to them, i had discovered many many memories. I felt child again as i listened same old story tape, the other tape had same hand writings from my father, reminded me as he was recording the songs from the radio, or he got same cable and coped the tape. before calling the police, in that time there were no other choice to get those music. so at the end it turned out to be fun to organize the tapes and also at the end i have realized that 2 weeks wouldn't be enaught to finish up this so at the end i just put them back to the box. I am sure i will feel one day dizzy enaught again to get the tapes and start put them in order, and i am sure i will find my G&R tape, witch will bring good memories back again.
